Ambition House Team Building

Below are the rules and schedule for the 1st Annual Cardboard Regatta.  As a house, we will try to supply as much cardboard as we can, but we may not have enough.  If you have some laying around, please consider sending it to school, we can store it.  We have a limited amount of duck tape and we anticipate it will go quickly, so if you have an extra roll or two for your child's group, please consider sending it.

Welcome to the first day of 8th grade.  I am Mr. Sarosiek and everything you will need for the class will be found on this blog.  For tomorrow September 2, the students need to write 3 likes and 3 dislikes they have of Social Studies in paragraph form.  They will also need to turn in their signed expectations sheet by Wednesday, Sept 7th.

Civics assignment

Each group will grab an iPad from the counter.  Each group of 2 students will open up the Google Doc on the blog and make a copy. The doc should be called the student’s names and hour.  The students will spend the hour working on the questions.  They assignment is due Wednesday, June 1.

Civil War Paragraph

Of the main causes of The US Civil War we have talked about, what is the most important in your opinion?  The paragraph should be a minimum of 8 sentences.

Continental Congress

Students will find a partner and answer the questions found on The Google Form below.  Some answers will come from the video attached, while others will be found in the textbook or on the internet.  The assignment is due Friday and all answers should be in complete sentences.  Submit your answers at the end of the hour and pick-up where you left off the next day of class.
