Research Paper
Today, students will complete the research on their 3 topics so that they can start writing/typing tomorrow. The rough draft of their 3 body paragraphs is due on Monday, Sept 22.

Research Paper
Today, students picked out their topics for the research paper that will be done in Comm Arts/Social Studies. The students do not have to research outside of school, but if they do, they will have more work time in class to type.

9/11
Today, students took the Continents and Oceans Quiz. After the completion of the test, we had a discussion and watched the news reports from 9/11. No homework was given out.

US Map
Today, students will label a US Map that will be used throughout the year. They also have an opportunity to earn some extra credit by working on a US Capitals latitude and longitude sheet. Tomorrow is also the continents and oceans quiz. The word bank is on Monday's blog post.
