Veteran's Day Unit

Essay Test Questions

Test questions for Nov. 3, 2014.  Students will get 2, but they will not know which ones until class starts.

1.      The American Colonies were started for 2 main reasons-money and/or religion.  Choosing 1 of the 2, give 3 reasons why money or religion were so important and describe why.

2.      Farming was essential to the survival of the colonies.   Give 3 reasons why farming was so important and explain each example.

3.      The 3 regions (New England, Middle and South) were similar in many ways.  Pick 3 ways and describe each.

4.      The 3 regions (New England, Middle and South) were different in many ways.  Pick 3 ways and describe each.

Final Test

The final test for The US Colonies is now on Monday, November 3.  The essays questions will be posted tomorrow-students will need to do 2 of 4 in class, but they will not know which ones.

Southern Colonies Notes

Today we will be studying The Southern Colonies, the notes are below.
Tomorrow students will take the WKCE Test in Science and Social Studies, so they will not have class.
Wednesday, we will have a mini-quiz and then finish up the Southern Colonies.
Thursday will be the review for the final test on the colonies.
Friday will be the test.  Questions will be posted on the blog by Thursday.
