Today, students will be taking notes on The New England Colonies and starting to set up the constitutions for their colonies. The test for the New England Colonies will be on November 26, with the study guide for the test being posted to the blog on the 25th.

Today we will start the unit on the founding of The 13 Colonies. Each student is already on a ship and they will find out the fate of themselves and their shipmates today on their travels from England to America. Each student will need to turn in at least one paragraph on the outcome of their voyage, due tomorrow.

Tomorrow is our last day with the Veteran's Unit, which will culminate with Rolling Thunder speaking with our students. Tuesday, we will start our unit on Colonization of America. Students will be partnered up and will create a society based on historical information-more to follow as the unit gets into full swing.
