FYI for conferences-Due to the days off because of weather, I will be coaching from 3-5:15 on both conference days, so I will be unable to meet with you until after 5:15.  If you have any questions, you can always e-mail me tcsarosiek@pulaskishools.org  

1. Triangle Trade: Explain in 2 paragraphs (3 why statements per paragraph):

                                                              i.      1^st paragraph should be on the good things associated with triangle trade.  The paragraph can include items that were valuable, things that are needed and why people were successful.  Use your own experiences in the activity to explain this.

                                                            ii.      The second paragraph should be on the bad things about triangle trade.  The paragraph can include items that were not valuable, things that are as usable and why people were unsuccessful.  Use your own experiences in the activity to explain this.

Extra Credit- Due Jan 17
Students can do a paragraph on any IMPORTANT current event in the world, state or local news.  Students may do 2 separate events for more points.  Each paragraph must include (in no particular order):

Who is involved?
What happened?
When did this happen?
Where did it take place?
Why is this important to you?

Welcome back.  Today, students will take the test to qualify for the PCMS Geography Bee.  The 8th grade finalists will be told on Monday.
